So, this is the day! I’ve been dreaming about starting a baking blog for a very long time now. I think it all started with Rosie Alyea and her blog Sweetapolita. Somewhere I saw a picture of a beautiful rainbow layer cake (made by the Whisk Kid) and it called for Swiss Meringue Buttercream. What the heck is Swiss Meringue Buttercream? A quick Google lead me to Rosie’s fabulous Swiss Meringue Buttercream Demystified post and a quick look around her beautiful sugar-filled blog and I guess you could say I was hooked. I love to bake so why can’t I make delicious treats and tell the world about them?
Fast forward several years and here I am! Just a beginning blogger with a lot of enthusiasm and a lot to learn!!! Please go easy on me. Maybe we can take this journey together? I know adventures are always more fun with more than one (me).
